

Kevin was born in Urbana, Illinois to Ken and Evelyn on July 19, 1971. He went to several schools in the United States and other countries as a military son. He graduated from UNLV in 1996. He was a veteran and served in the Marines (for eight years) and Army Reserves (two years). He was a member in American Legion in Illinois. He was the President of the Gunfighters MC in Las Vegas, Nevada. He joined Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department on January 25, 1999 until he retired on February 2, 2020. He worked as a patrol officer, field training officer for new recruits, the Gang Unit, and Abuse and Neglect Detective #6269. After retirement, he took a small break and then worked for the Constable Department.
Kevin enjoyed a wide variety of sports, the outdoors, theme parks, Halloween, St. Patrick’s Day, hanging out with his friends and loved ones, riding his motorcycle(s), his dogs (Blitz and Mia), and he loved learning about history (specifically regarding the Wars).
Kevin is preceded in death by his brother, Jeffrey.
Kevin is survived by his step-daughter Savanna, Jonathon, and grandson Reinhardt, his parents Kenneth and Evelyn, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Memorials may be given to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
The Viewing will be held on Tuesday, June 18, 2024 from 4pm-6pm. The Celebration of Life will begin at 6pm at Palm Northwest Mortuary on 6701 N. Jones Blvd.
Burial services will take place in Heyworth, Illinois at the Randolph Township Cemetery (date and time to be determined).
