Keyshawn, 

My friend, I hope you're doing alright up there.

I knew Keyshawn back in elementary school – specifically 4th and 5th grade. Out of all the people I could remember, he was truly one of my best friends at the time. We'd bond over basketball, football, video games as well as legos.  Oh how we all grew up so quickly. 

I didn't hear about his death until another elementary school friend of mine informed me of his passing. The last time I saw and talked to him was at a high school service event at Green Valley High School. I’m currently attending university on track to attend law school in the not so distant future. 

My condolences and prayers go out to Keyshawn's family and friends. I hope to visit his grave in the future and remind myself of all the good memories I had with Keyshawn as a kid. 

Whenever I think about my childhood and attending elementary school, I always reminisce about the good times I had with my close friends, one of them in particular being Keyshawn Williams. 

May you rest In peace.
