

Kimiko Yamaguchi - Dalby, 83, of Las Vegas, passed away in the comfort of her home on Friday, October, 14, 2016. She was born August 14, 1933 to Saechi Yamaguchi and Michie Nagumatu, in Fukuoka, Japan. She became a United States Citizen in 1962 and was a 44 year resident of Las Vegas. Kimiko Served as a waitress as apart of the Culinary Union Local #226 where she retired at age 66. She was the Co-Founder of the (JCC) Japanese Culture Club of Las Vegas and served as President from 1993-1997. She helped organize many community events involving Japanese Dance, Music, and Karaoke.
She was a gifted Artisan and Seamstress always designing Kimonos and clothing as well as re-purposing products into unique paper decor. She was a Master of many thing's throughout her life and enjoyed teaching other's her knowledge. She was an incredibly devoted Mother, Grandmother, and Friend. No matter what anyone needed "Kim" was generously there for you.
Kimiko was preceded in death by her Parents, Brother Matsumitsu Yamaguchi of Fukuoko, Japan, and Daughter Aniva J. Dalby-Meseberg of Watertown, SD.
Kimiko is survived by her Beloved Soul Mate of 38 years Andrew B. Moore, Sister Shizue Masaki of Kanagawa, Japan, Grandaughter Nichole M. Lewno and GrandSon In Law Kip A. Lewno of Star, ID; Great Grandchildren; Miriah Watson-McCullen of Watertown, SD, Alec S. Lewno and Kaedyn J-N Lewno of Star, ID, Kadra and Devon Lewno of Grand Junction, CO. and numerous of Loved Friends.
Kimiko will be deeply missed by her Maltese companion "Princess".
Visitation and Prayer Service will be from 3-6pm Thursday October 20th at Palm Downtown Mortuary. Reception will follow from 6-8pm.
Her Committal Service will be held on Wednesday, November 9th at 11:00am at Palm Downtown Cemetery.
