Laura Pollock, 59, of Las Vegas, went to her rest with our Lord Dec. 22, 2012, after a long illness. She was born in San Francisco, to the late Edward and Eugenia Gagen, Jan. 30, 1953. Laura was a long-time Nevada resident. She graduated from UNLV with a degree in criminal justice and a nursing degree from College of Southern Nevada. She is survived by her beloved husband, of 37 years, Ronald Pollock; brothers, Tom Gagen of Los Angeles, and William (Renee) Funderburk and family of Las Vegas; and brother-in-law, Larry Pollock of Las Vegas. She will be truly missed by those who knew and loved her. There will be a memorial service at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 29, at St. Anthony of Padua Chapel, 4275 N. Rancho Drive, Suite 125.
