

Laura was a proud mother and wife. Her husband, Wayne, and her late husband, George, both loved her very much and she them. Her son George, step daughter Jacklyn, and daughter in law Mina also loved her and will greatly miss her.
Laura was always fond of adventure. She traveled throughout Europe many times with her loved ones, always eager to learn about the culture and history. From the UK to France, Italy was her favorite country, Venice her favorite city. She often talked of how her version of Heaven would be similar.
My mom always impacted people with her kindness. My friends have always mentioned how kind Laura was, before and after life. She loved to give gifts without request and would always be thinking of others – in particular telescopes, cars, groceries; anything you could imagine.
I’ll never forget her, the advice, or the lessons that she taught me. She’s helped to shape who I am today, and continues to live on through everyone she’s touched. Her wisdom and care will forever guide me throughout my life. I know I probably say it too much, but I love you mom.
Today we are honoring Laura Stowe. She was a woman of extreme kindness and grace. I’d like to share her favorite poem with you:

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;
Then took the other, as just as fair,
