Laurene "Laurie" Denise Craig, née Limley, 62, passed away on July 5, 2024, in Las Vegas, Nevada. A proud Vegas native born May 8, 1962, Laurie attended Bonanza High School and worked in retail before focusing on raising a family.
She was heavily involved in her children's education and often volunteered in their classrooms and on the PTA board. In her free time, Laurie enjoyed sampling Italian foods and desserts, picnicking at Mount Charleston, feeding her backyard hummingbirds and chipmunks, taking care of her plants and flowers, vacationing in San Diego, and watching Golden Knights games.
She is survived by her husband (Tim), son and daughter (Jason and Amanda), mother (Milli), sister (Donna), nephew (Michael), numerous cousins, and other extended family.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to Safe Nest.
Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, July 27, 2024, at Good Samaritan Lutheran Church, with a reception to follow.
