

Larry was born July 22nd, 1938 in Kellogg, Idaho to his parents Joseph and Eileen (Lawrence) Irvine and grew up with his sister Marilyn Erwin.
Larry enlisted in the United States Marine Corps directly out of high school to serve our country. Later he retired as a Detective Sergeant from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department after 25 years. He continued in law enforcement as Chief of Police for 5 years in his hometown of Kellogg, Idaho. He fully retired in 2021.
On May 28th, 1993, Larry married the love of is life and best friend, Jean, at the United Methodist Church, in Las Vegas. They were happily married for 33 years. Larry, Jean and their pooch, Ruby, lived together happily in Sun City Summerlin, Las Vegas, Nevada.
Larry loved his children Debbie, Mark, Scott, and Shane (Jill) as well as his many loving grandchildren!
He loved the Dodgers, the Golden Knights, and the Gonzaga Bulldogs. Larry and his wife spent 15 Years in his hometown in the panhandle of North Idaho. He and his friends traveled the mountains in their ATV's and will be missed by his friends there. He had a great sense of humor and was always ready to go have fun!
Larry will be loved and remembered by his family, friends, and the many lives he has touched.
A Celebration of Larry's Life will be held at his home on Sunday, June 28, 2026 between the hours 1:00 and 3:00pm
His ashes will be interred at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Boulder City.
