CMSgt (Ret) Lee Roy Bishop, 79, of Las Vegas, passed away Aug. 28, 2010. He was born Oct. 14, 1930 in Des Moines, Iowa and was a 22-year resident of Nevada. Lee retired from the U.S. Air Force after a 26-year career and served during World War II, Korea and Vietnam. He was also a retired senior consulting engineer. Lee is survived by his beloved wife, MaryJo; daughters, Sue (Scott) Romans of Springfield, VA and Hedy Woodrow of Las Vegas; son, Blaze (Teena) Bishop of Las Vegas; and grandchildren, Travis, Kendell, Stephen, Michael, Rebecca and Alexis. Viewing will be 9:30-11:00 AM Friday, Sept. 3 with Funeral Service following at 11:00 AM, both at Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Graveside Service will follow at 1:20 PM at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Buchanan Blvd. in Boulder City. Donations can be made to Solari Hospice, 5550 S.
