Leo John Feilen, 87, resident of Las Vegas for 6 years, passed away April 26, 2011. Born in Marble Township, Minnesota, Leo was a retired Maintenance Worker for an Electric Machinery Manufacturing Company. Leo was an Army veteran, having served during World War II. Born September 25, 1923 to parents Thomas and Mary, he is preceded in death by both parents, daughter Sharon Leist and son Richard Feilen. He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Elaine Feilen; daughters Gloria (Jerry) Perchert and Sandra K. (Tyrone) Malmberg; son Dean (Daba) Feilen; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great great-grandchildren. Visitation scheduled for Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at 9 a.m. with service following at 11:30 a.m. at Palm Mortuary- Henderson, burial following at 1:20 p.m. at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Boulder City, Nevada with Chaplain Check Lehman presiding.
