

Leroy Odom born in Demark, SC on May 10, 1955 to the late William and Mattie Odom. Swiftly depart this life on August 28, 2021. He was the youngest of nine siblings: Lorraine, Willam, Jr., Barbara, Robert, Curtis, James, David, and Johnnie.
Leroy was educated in the Philadelphia System graduating from Benjamin Franklin High School in 1973. Determined not to be caught up in street life or the gangs he immediately enlisted in the United States Army. While in the Army he meet and married the love of his life Ada Vazquez (she preceded him in death). Leroy will go on to serve until he retire at an early age. Being dedicated to law enforcement he came out of retirement taking a position with the FBI and later Homeland Security. Leroy received a numerous amount of awards and recognitions during his 30 years of service.
Leroy believed in education and was always top of his class. He received a number of degrees in life and at the time of his passing was currently enrolled in more classes.
Known by many for his contiguous laugh and his many jokes, he will mostly be remembered for the sound advice he would give. He would never pass up an opportunity to point you in the right direction.
He leaves to cherish his memories his brothers David, and James; his sister Barbara; his nieces and nephews, his Fraternal of Police family and a special friend Maria Martinez.
