Lidia Alvarez, 89, passed away on May 1, 2016. Lidia was born in Havana, Cuba and migrated to the United States in 1966. In 1971 the family moved to Las Vegas, NV. Lidia loved spending time with her family. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ramon Alvarez and her parents. Lidia is survived by her children, Rene and Doris Alvarez and Mayra and Kenneth L Parrish; 3 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at 10:00AM with a funeral service to follow at 12:00PM. Lidia will be laid to rest at Palm Northwest Cemetery, 6701 N Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89131.
