Linda dedicated her professional career to supporting the United States Air Force as a civilian contractor. She was immensely proud of her work and of the opportunity to support our nation’s military, carrying out her responsibilities with dedication, professionalism, and a deep sense of service. Her love of math and command of organization not only led to her successful contribution to the Air Force and its mission but were also the foundation in her entrepreneurial spirit of owning and managing a successful excavation company with her late husband and love of her life, Dave.
Linda had a soft spot in her heart for animals, and she never went without a four-legged companion by her side. She was a car, motorcycle, and adventure enthusiast, always taking advantage of an opportunity to get out on the open road. She loved being outdoors, especially spending time at the beach.
Her memory will be cherished by her only child and treasured son, Buddy Rowland, and his wife, Jeannie; her grandchildren, Mikayla, Rylee, Lauryn, Tommie, and James; and her great-grandson, Rhett. Her family was her greatest joy and the light of her life.
Linda’s parents; her husband of 26 years, David W Pealer; and her sister, Mary Brown preceded her in death. She is survived by her sister, Judy Rowland; extended family in Kansas; and her late husband’s family.
To honor Linda’s wishes, funeral services will not be held.
