March 23, 2023. Born in Miami Florida, she was the eldest of 8 siblings. She is survived by her dedicated partner/husband of 29 years Russell Lee Glaze and her loving children Gerald Gibbs Jr. , James Gibbs, Jennifer (David) Kublick, and their father Gerald Gibbs Sr.. Linda sacrificed everything to raise them to be the strong individuals they are today. She embraced, loved, and created a home for her extended family members Heidi Glaze, Hilarie (David) Paciocco, Kristin (John) Wills. Grandchildren: Ashleigh Kublick, Brittnee Kublick, Hunter Kublick, Rachel Glaze, Anthony Paciocco, Aidan and Cash Wills. Linda!s loving siblings are David Manley, Jenny (Robert) Bohjanen, Sharon Manley, Kevin Manley, Sherry (Bill) Simon and Dorothy Manley. Linda loved and cherished her many extended family members and countless
friends she encountered throughout her life. Linda’s professional career was as adventurous and challenging as her life often was. In her early years she attended cosmetology school and became a leader in that field running salons around the world. She then discovered she wanted more out of her life and career. She tirelessly worked to support her family while expanding her education, becoming an educator herself, receiving her undergraduate degree in Education from Colorado State University and teaching for many years before transitioning into the field of Industrial Therapy and eventually being appointed Chief Compliance Officer for the Department of Labor for the State of Nevada before
retiring. Linda was a diligent worker but also very much enjoyed time with her family, throwing lavish parties for her friends, she was an award winning disco dancer, floral designer, won many competitive
hair design competitions and was even a hand model for a Revlon nail color line. One of her
greatest joys was caring for her two dogs Dolly and Patch. Her love of family, life and her laughter
were absolutely unforgettable to all who knew her. Linda was preceded in death by her parents John and Doris Manley, brother James Bo Manley and nephew Michael Bohjanen. The family would like to extend our deepest heartfelt gratitude to Linda!s many cherished friends near and far and her entire family who loved her and will miss her so very much. A memorial service for Linda will be held Monday, May 15, 2023 from 11:20 AM to 12:00 PM at Southern Nevada Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veteran's Memorial Drive, Boulder City, NV 89005. A celebration of her life for family and friends will be planned for the summer of 2023 with details pending.
