Linda Valenzuela Orpilla

Linda Valenzuela Orpilla was born on April 29th, 1951, in Bagbag, Bauang, La Union Philippines. She migrated to the United States in 1980, where she worked at the Westin St. Francis in San Francisco for 18 years. Linda and her family eventually moved to Las Vegas, where she worked at Wynn Las Vegas for 14 years before retiring in 2020.

Linda was a beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and aunt.

She loved to ballroom dance, go shopping, and play at the slot machines. Linda also frequented the church, as her faith was very important in her life. She adored her grandchildren, and enjoyed spending time with them very much.

Linda passed on July 1, 2021, at the age of 70. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Baltazar Sr.; her 3 children: Edward, Baltazar Jr., and Chrystal; her 5 living siblings: Nita, Nellie, Myrna, Cathy and David; and her 4 grandchildren: Matty, Jaxson, Isabelle, and Joslynn.

A visitation for Linda will be held Monday, July 12, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Palm Northwest Mortuary, 6701 North Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89131. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, July 13, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Joseph, Husband of Mary Roman Catholic Church, 7260 W Sahara Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89117. A committal service will occur Tuesday, July 13, 2021 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at Palm Northwest Cemetery, 6701 North Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89131. A reception will occur Tuesday, July 13, 2021 from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM, 6701 North Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89131.
