Linda Carol Patton

Linda Carol Patton was born, Linda C. Smith, May 26, 1953, to Mrs. Beneva Hoye Smith.

Linda attended school in Las Vegas, NV. She attended the historic Westside Elementary School, Roy Martin Jr. High School and graduated in 1971 from Valley High School. She was an excellent student. She carried her love of reading and learning throughout her life.

Upon graduation, she attended and graduated from Dana McKay Business College, where she earned a certificate in Secretarial Skills.

Linda worked hard and was a loyal employee. For more than fifty years she worked for the Circus Circus Hotel, Flamingo Hilton and the Nevada Test Site.

Linda accepted Christ at a young age and attended Zion United Methodist Church. Under the mentorship of Rev Marion Bennett, she learned the importance of having Christ as a central focus in her life.

Linda departed this life and entered her heavenly home Wednesday December 11, 2024.

Linda was preceded in death by her daughter, LaTonya Denise Walker, sisters Vonceil L. Smith and Yvonne D. Smith; niece LaQuinta A. Smith; nephews John J. Smith and Christopher J. Richard.

She leaves to carry her legacy her grandson Nico Wilson, her sister Cassandra Smith; brothers Clifford E. Smith and Christopher T. Hoye (Smith); and several cousins and extended family.

A visitation for Linda will be held Saturday, December 28, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Palm Mortuary - Downtown, 1325 North Main St, Las Vegas, NV 89101. A funeral service will occur Saturday, December 28, 2024 at 12:00 PM, 1325 North Main St, Las Vegas, NV 89101. A committal service will occur Saturday, December 28, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Woodlawn Cemetery, 1500 Las Vegas Blvd N, Las Vegas, NV 89101.
