

Lucille G. Felix was born in Waterproof, Louisiana on November 9, 1930 to the late Annie Lee Brisco and Harrison Gordon Sr. Lucille accepted Christ at an early age. She was infamous for wearing her hats to church each Sunday. Lucille always wore her hats to church starting as a very young girl. She was a member of Shadow Faith Church Ministries under the leadership of Bishop Terry B. Cox. She loved going to church and was known to all as “Mother”. On May 15, 2011 she was elevated to the status of National Church Mother. Lucille was a Eastern Star, a member of the Star Of Hope Grand Chapter Order of the Eastern Star, Georgia Chapter, for many years. Lucille leaves to cherish her memory daughters, Annie Felix, Ethel Washington, Lucille L. Felix, Bobby Gordon, and Mary Eddins all of Las Vegas, Nevada and sons, Larry Felix ( Leontynae) of Anaheim California, Len E. Felix (Gayle) of Baton Rouge Louisiana, James Felix (Debra) of Kingsland Georgia and Mark Gordon( Pauline) of Las Vegas Nevada. Brother Harrison Gordon Jr who preceded her in death, brother Michael Ross (Darlene) of Los Angeles California, Mose Ross Jr (Doris) of Meridian Mississippi, and sisters Ruby Lee Flemings and Hattie Mae Wilson who preceded her in death, Leola Calhoun, Liz Calhoun and Gussie Calhoun (Roland) all of Los Angeles California. A special niece Marie Davis of Philadelphia Pennsylvania, A special grandson Michael Felix of Las Vegas Nevada, A special God child Dee Watkins. A host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
