

succumbed to Alzheimer's, Wednesday morning, April
15, 2020. Luis "Jim" was born November 17, 1938 to
the late Luis Jimenez Sr. and Maria Lopez Jimenez in
Milford Utah, the youngest of six children.
Jim is survived by his wife Marilyn of 62 years,
daughters Tammy (Mike Gutierrez) Jimenez, Debbie
(Ray) Jemison, Julie (Joseph) Murphy, Vicky (Lupe)
Gallegos, son Mark (Rosalia) Jimenez, 14
grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, many loving
nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by 1.
grandson, Shawn Rowlett, I Great-Granddaughter
Jordyn Jemison, 3 brothers, & 2 sisters.
Luis "Jim" served in the U.S. Air Force as a First -
Class Airman from 1956-1962. Settling in Lincoln
Nebraska from 1962-1971, Jim owned and operated a
Phillips 66 Service Station. In, 1971 Jim moved his
family to Las Vegas, Nevada, where he began a 29 -
year career in the Auto Repair Industry. Starting out at
Fletcher Jones briefly, Gaudin Ford Dealership Service
Manager for 26 years, and ending at Desert Chrysler in
2000, before retiring.
Jim enjoyed fishing & camping with his family. He
loved every kind of animal. Favorite hobbies were the
do it-yourself home repairs and re-modeling. He
enjoyed anything pertaining to his children,
grandchildren, brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.
Family was very important to Jim.
