Lynn Becker, 80, of Las Vegas passed away Thursday, July 19, 2018. He was born April 24, 1938 and was a resident of Las Vegas for 25 years. Before moving to Las Vegas, he lived in California where he ran a couple of successful real estate offices. He was a great mentor, fearless leader and truly a phenomenal salesman. Once here in Las Vegas he started a unique business, he managed to find this incredible niche which lead to many years of a successful and growing business, which is still operating today. This business was sold in 2008. He operated his businesses with compassion, fairness, honesty, creativity and integrity. He was an “out of the box” thinker, quite the visionary and a true entrepreneur. There was and never will be anyone quite like Lynn Becker. He was a character and was quite the collector. Throughout his life he collected baseball cards, stamps, die cast cars, Disneyana memorabilia, advertising figures and bakelite jewelry. At one point, he had the largest collection of Disneyana memorabilia in the United States. He had an incredible eye and somehow knew just by looking at an item, that it was a good find!
Lynn was preceded in death by his mom, Dorothy, whom he took care of. Lynn is survived by his wife of 55 years, Melba, who he lived for, his daughter Starla, who he taught everything he knew to, and his granddaughter Sierra, who he adored. Lynn, affectionately known as “the Big Guy” will be sorely missed. We are all so grateful to have had the opportunity to share our lives with him! Rest in Peace – we love you!
