Mabel Fukumoto, 84, of Las Vegas, passed away peacefully Thursday, December 29, 2016. She was born February 21, 1932 in Kona, Hawaii to her parents Tatsuki Hirano and Matsue Aoki, and was the 2nd youngest of 7 children. Mabel was strong, loving, caring and always made you feel like she knew you forever. she touched the lives and hearts of so many people with her sense of humor, smile and “gift of gab with no filter”. This is what made her so special and loved by so many. Mabel was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kaizo; son, Jon; and siblings. She is survived by her sons: Jay (Hope) and Kevin (Susan); and two grandchildren: Kyle and Eric. Mabel will be laid to rest with her husband at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, in Hawaii.
