Madeline R. Gravitt, 89, of Las Vegas, passed away October 21, 2013. She was born December 5, 1923, in Honolulu, HI, and was a nine-year resident of Nevada. She was a retired Comptroller Supervisor for the Federal Government. Madeline is predeceased by her beloved husband William. She is survived by her sister Genevieve Baptist of Honolulu, HI; brother Gregory Militante of Napa, CA; daughter Jeanette Kane of Las Vegas; grandson Alton Kane (Eileen) of Washington; granddaughters, Tansy-Marie Stovall (FH) of Washington, and Pakalana Cortez (Mario) of Las Vegas; great-grandsons, Elijah Stovall, Nainoa Kane, Kalani Kane and Jeremiah Cortez; and great-granddaughters, Bianca Cortez and Leina’ala Stovall. Visitation will be 9:00 am – 10:00 am Tuesday, October 29, with services following, both at Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Graveside services following at 12:00 noon , at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Memorial Drive, Boulder City, NV.
