Manny S. Newman

Manny, 89, was born Feb. 26, 1935 in Pasadena, CA to Irvin Newman and Sarah Shatz Newman. Manny passed away on Thursday August 22, 2024.

He was predeceased by his wife of 62 years Donna, sons Allen, Dan, and brother Steven Scott.

Manny is survived by sons David (Renee) Newman, Mark (Lynda) Newman, daughter Teresa (David) Brian all of Las Vegas.

Manny has a large family, 14 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren living in Las Vegas and various states, and many nieces and nephews.

Manny was a successful business owner for his entire life. Living in Las Vegas since 1955, raising his family, running his business was his life. Boating and time spent on Lake Mead with family was his favorite pastime.

Rec World Outdoor Power Equipment sold lawn and garden equipment, plus Kawasaki & Sea Doo personal watercraft since the 1970's, with the help of his sons and daughter along with his wife.

Travel with his wife Donna was a favorite later in life. They traveled the world until Donna passed in 2015.

Manny worked until he was 85, then retired. After retirement, he became ill and passed with his daughter and sons by his side. He lived a long happy life with his family nearby.

Visitation for Manny to be held Saturday September 7, 2024 from 10:00am to 12:00pm at Palm Northwest, 6701 N. Jones Blvd. Las Vegas, NV 89131. The funeral service following 12:00pm - l :00 pm. The committal service 1:00pm-1:30pm with the reception immediately following from 1:30pm-3:30pm, all taking place at 6701 N. Jones Blvd. Las Vegas, NV 89131 Palm Mortuary Northwest.
