I'm going to miss you so much, Uncle Manuel. I will always remember the days when you lived with us and how you take care of me when my parents were working. You walked me to school, took me on errands, napped while I watched the same movie over and over for weeks at a time. I will remember the phone calls I would get from you as I grew older or the letters you would send. I'm so grateful I had talked to you just a couple of weeks before you passed; nothing special was said, but it'll forever be special to me. I wish we were the types to say I love you, but I'm sure you knew.

I am writing a note of condolence, RIP Manual, I  have only met you one time and felt like I have none along time. Manual was a very nice and caring man and have only heard good things about him from his Brother Eddie and Sister-law Cicilia , Dinky. Rest in peace and one day we shall meet up again. In my formidable years, we would visit my grandparents and my Uncle Manuel on Sundays.    He was a strong disciplinarian, but at the same time very loved and respected.   I have fond memories of hanging out and him threatening to "hang us by our toes" if we got out of line.  I loved that, it would make me laugh every time he said it. 
I have a great memory as a teenager.  Uncle Manuel took my sisters and I to Hollywood for the first time.  He took us to the  Grauman's Chinese Theater to see Stars Wars.   
In 2019, my sisters, my brother and our families wanted to honor our uncle by making sure that he was a part of our Las Vegas trip. 
 We planned a lunch with Uncle Manuel.   We met that afternoon and shared, a meal, love, and lots of memories.  I will forever be grateful for that day. 
Even though we did not talk often, Uncle Manuel, you were always in my thoughts and prayers. 
Until we meet again.... I love you.

I still remember the pleasure I had to meet Manuel unfortunately it was at a sad time in my grandma Maggie’s and her siblings lives they had just lost their sister Nitha. However through the sad occasion I was amazed to see how  jolly and kind Manuel still was he had an infectious smile that was unforgettable. I can still recall the stories that many of my uncles would share and continue to share at every get together. Stories of laughs, lessons and most importantly love. My heart and deepest condolences go out to my grandma and her siblings for their tremendous loss of their beloved brother, to my uncles,  and all the extended families who feel this great grief. May God comfort all of you and keep you. I like to conclude with a huge thank you for uncle Manuel’s  best  friend who has loved his friend in life and in death, we can’t express our gratitude enough for your great kindness.

I wish I had pictures of him with me but I hadn’t seen him in years, unfortunately. Instead, Uncle Manuel was my penpal. I always sent him letters of everything going on and to see how he was doing. I wish there was more time. He is deeply missed. He made an impression.
