OBITUARY

Margaret Carol Marquardt

February 9, 1940 – March 26, 2023
Obituary of Margaret Carol Marquardt
IN THE CARE OF

Palm Cheyenne Mortuary

Margaret C. Marquardt, Marge was 83 when she died peacefully in her only child's arms, in Las Vegas, Nevada on March 25,2023. She was born on February 9,1940 to Stephen & Virginia Motto. In true Marge fashion she joined the Navy right out of High School, that is where she met the love of her life William (Bill) Marquardt. She loved to read, shop & spend time at Arizona Charlie's. Even though the last few years were spent indoors, she is remembered as being independent, active, having the biggest heart one could have, and being honest, maybe a little too honest.

She loved visiting with her grandchildren, great grandchildren and wonderful friends. She was an amazing cook and no one could leave her house hungry. She loved watching the Vegas Golden Knights, MSN, Food Network & true crime. Her only child, Brian became her full time caretaker and she sang his praises for all he did for her.

She is survived by her son, Brian Marquardt. Her grandchildren Tina, Billy (Cindy) Marquardt. Her brother Michael Motto. Her great grandchildren Jayden, Lola, Will, Lilian, Danny, Soarin & Michael and many wonderful friends.

She is finally able to join her husband, William Marquardt, Her sister, Patti Ball, and her parents Stephen & Ginny Motto.

In accordance with Grandma's wishes there will be no memorial service. No need for flowers and tears today. If you love her, she's in your heart, always. As she used to say, "Everything happens for a reason." She will be missed, fiercely, but we are so grateful she fought to be with us as long as she did.

Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.palmcheyenne.com for the Marquardt family.
