Margo was a very special person who definitely influenced the lives of so many students, teachers and friends.  I realized that I met her in the mid 1970's and knew her to always be kind, engaging and caring about those around her.  While I met her when she initially worked in the SoCal CDE office, I was lucky enough to spend time with her in Sacramento as well.  I always considered her a mentor and so respected her input regarding the education of children who are Deaf and/or Deaf-Blind.  She supported CATHI, CAL-ED, LIDAC and those of us who advocated to make the educational envioronment a better place.   We missed her when she left the CA Dept. of Education, Special Education Division and will continue to miss her in our lives! Please accept our condolences! 


Margo will always be in my heart.  She was a sportier of special needs children and their families.  She gave generously of her time to them.  

Passover, 2022.....and Margo led the service. It was poignant and  endearing as she led the family through the story of Passover...a memory I'll cherish always.

My Auntie Margo has been there for me all of my life.  At times she lived with us at our house growing up.  At times I lived at her house.  She was an amazing woman who had a real zest for life!  XOXO 

My grandma had a heart of gold. She was a giver because that's what she NEEDED and it's just who she was. I like to think that I am a lot like her. Honest but, stern; opinionated but, kind; often unconventional. She was the life of the (definitely themed) party. To the woman who wanted love, she built it within our family. She was the glue, our bond. GG, you were so respected and it is our families honor to continue on your legacy of love, family, and togetherness.
