She is preceded in death by her mother Rose Sanzari, son Anthony Abbott and her brother Tony Sanzari.
Maria is survived by her father Patrick Sanzari; husband Gary Ebert; daughters Christina Davis, Andrea Misenhimer and Erin Kirchefer and their spouses; bonus children Teresa Ryland and James Milliken; grandchildren Jacqueline, Addison and Anthony Davis, Brianna and Kylie Ryland, Patrick Misenhimer and her much anticipated granddaughter Tessa Kirchefer; siblings, Patty Eastman, Frank Sanzari , Ray Sanzari and their spouses; Her numerous nephews and nieces who she loves as her own and their children.
Maria lived in Livermore, CA from a young age until she relocated in 1999 to Henderson, NV. She married Gary Ebert in 1999 and felt she found her true love and best friend. She ran a daycare in both places for a combined 20 years. She helped shape many young lives and loved to hear from her past daycare kids as they grew. Maria often said her greatest accomplishment was raising three strong and independent girls. She often spoke of their milestone achievements with pride. The only thing that brought her more joy was her grandchildren. She would talk to anyone about them and show everyone pictures. Maria was resilient and resourceful, which helped her overcome life's challenges, one of the biggest being losing her son. She had an uncanny ability to make almost anything happen that she put her mind to! She was known for her caring nature, quick wit and humor as well as unconditional love for all of her large family. She was close with her parents, siblings, nieces and nephews. She loved big get-togethers and the shenanigans that always followed. She remained in Nevada until her passing.
Maria had a big personality that was almost impossible for anyone who met her to forget. Bigger than her personality was her heart. She gave wholeheartedly and took great pride in making others feel loved and cared for. She was an amazing mother, providing values, morals and a foundation of love and acceptance. She had an infectious laugh and could brighten any room. Her absence will be greatly felt by all her family and friends. She loved interacting with kids and often acted childlike herself with her silly songs and pranks. Her loss creates a void throughout our family. Navigating life without her is difficult to accept. She was loved by many and truly one of a kind.
Services and a celebration of life will take place Saturday, December 1 at 12:30 pm at Hampton Inn & Suites on Saint Rose Parkway and will be conducted by Pastor Vic from Green Valley Christian.
