Maria Elena DelRio

Our beautiful, Maria Elena DelRio, passed away peacefully late Wednesday night, January 24, 2024. She was surrounded by her family and fiancé. She fought hard against cancer and is free of this horrible disease.

Maria Elena was born in Fontana, California to parents Lydia Lujan Sasaki and Joseph Julian DelRio Jr. The family moved to Las Vegas from Banning California in 1998. She grew up surrounded by the love of her family.

Maria had a deep love for friends and family. She cherished getting her loved ones together and playing games, whether it be card games with her family on holidays or getting her best friends together to play her favorite video games. Lil Mary thrived around her loved ones and her presence brought happiness into your life whenever she was around. Even when she was going through unimaginable struggles she always kept a smile on her face and tried her best to keep a smile on everyone around her.

She is preceded in death by her brother in-law, Michael Angelo Garcia; her maternal Grandparents Magdaleno and Esther Lujan.

She is survived by her mother, Lydia Lujan Sasaki; bonus father, Poppa Kenny Sasaki; father, Joseph DelRio Jr; bonus Mom Theresa, Paternal Grandmother Maria DelRio; siblings, Vincent, Daniel, Roxanne, Johnny, Michelle, and Julian, her nephews and nieces, Taylor, Syrus, Giuls, Aundrais, Michael Jr, Raijon, Jerahmai, Craig and Ziya, her fiancé, Tyler Langan; her fiancé’s mother, Nicole Peterson-Langan; her fiancé’s siblings Kyle, Cody and Riley; nephews Matthew & Nathan Salazar and her best friends; Jerica, Danielle and Leannah and many other family members and friends.
