Marianne Catherine Alexander, formerly Wagner, passed away peacefully on Monday. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Z.D. Alexander, her daughter Antoinette Christmas, and her siblings Sadie Washington and William “Butchie” Wagner.
She is lovingly survived by her daughters Salanna Smith (Timothy), Tarsha Weaver (Wendell), and her sister Annesther Crosby. Marianne’s legacy continues through her 11 grandchildren, including two who preceded her in death, and her 20 great‑grandchildren, all of whom carry forward the love and strength she poured into her family.
Marianne spent her career in the health technology field, where she was known for her dedication and steady presence.
Her family honors her by remembering her quick wit, her love of dancing, and the joy she brought to every room she entered. She will be deeply missed.
