Maricel Bantiles Perez

Maricel Perez, 57, passed on September 9, 2026 in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was born in Lorega in Cebu,Philippines on December 21, 1968 to the late Agosto and Susana Bantiles. She was the second oldest of four children, one preceded her in death.

She worked as a cocktail waitress for 21 years at the California Hotel. Maricel Perez is the wife to Thomas Perez Jr. They married on the date of September 20, 1997 and they shared 34 years together in total. During their marriage they had two daughters.

Maricel loved to sing, she would even join competitions as a child to win necessities. She loved going out to dance as well. One of her favorite things to do was to travel to LA with her husband where they enjoyed the beach, food, and shopping. She also loved to watch her Filipino game shows on her pastime. In her most recent years she cherished spending most of her time with her grandchildren and cooking for them. She was an amazing cook. No one left her house hungry or empty handed. She was an honest woman who always told it how it is and always joking around. She was full of life, energetic, and very independent.

She leaves behind a family that will deeply miss her, especially her daughters, grandchildren, and husband. Rest in peace Maricel, you will forever be in our hearts and we will always love you.
