August 9, 1959 - September 11, 2026
Marie Celine Bowman, age 67, passed away peacefully at her Las Vegas home on September 11, 2026, surrounded by family. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.
Celine lived a life beautifully woven with love, faith, and family. She possessed the innate ability to make everyone around her feel deeply cared for.
She and her husband, Greg, shared a beautiful 47-year marriage. They were the loves of each other’s lives, and their connection was instant from the moment they met at Brigham Young University. They started dating a week after meeting, were engaged three weeks later, and married four months later in the St. George Utah Temple. Together they had 6 children and 18 grandchildren.
Celine’s family was her entire world; she devoted her life to them, and they brought her extraordinary happiness and joy. She also loved her children-in-law dearly. Deeply committed to the Lord, Celine dedicated her life to serving Him with unwavering faith and testimony. She believed deeply in the Savior and the promise of eternal families, finding great peace in knowing that death is not the end of our relationships with those we love. This passion for family connection extended into her love for genealogy, where she spent countless hours searching for and finding the names of her ancestors.
Besides caring for her family, Celine enjoyed camping, tennis, homemaking, entertaining, hosting lavish dinners, planning vacations, fine china, and reading the Book of Mormon. She loved beautiful gardens, OBX, Mammoth Lakes, Scotland, James Taylor, Fleetwood Mac, dancing with Greg, birds, and nature… in short, she loved life, and she loved doing whatever she could to make the lives of those around her better.
Celine faced a devastating illness that eventually took her life, and she knew her time would be coming to an end soon. She wasn’t afraid to die. She faced the last moments of her life bravely, with dignity, courage, and grace.
The absence she leaves is immeasurable because the love she gave was immeasurable.
Celine is survived by her husband, Greg; their children Kevin (Emily) Bowman, Laura (Michael) Forman, Emily (Shane) Black, Bryan (Kristi) Bowman, Melissa Pollock and Brandon Bowman; 18 grandchildren; sister Laura Kearney; brother Gerald (Dana) Kearney.
