Marie L. Elliott

Marie L. Elliott, of Las Vegas, Nevada passed away on Friday, November 22, 2013. She was born in Houston, Texas on January 15, 1949 and was a 50-year resident of Las Vegas. She graduated from Bishop Gorman High School in 1967. Marie worked for Metropolitan Police Department, Nevada Power and spent the last 23 years as a homemaker. Marie was a loving wife and a wonderful mother to her three daughters. Marie is survived by her husband, Michael; her daughters, Julie Hussey, Jamie Robins, and Shea Elliott; and her brother, Michael Glasgow of Houston, Texas. Marie also leaves behind many loving relatives throughout Las Vegas, Texas, California, and Oregon. Marie’s love for all of God’s creations extended to her love for animals, especially dogs. Her warm spirit was felt by her four beloved dogs who also mourn her loss. In lieu of flowers please make all donations to the Nevada Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, Inc. (www.nevadaspca.org) A visitation will be held Friday, November 29, 2013 from 3:00 to 7:00 with a Funeral Service to be held Saturday, November 30, 2013 at 1:00 at Palm Northwest Mortuary, 6701 N. Jones Blvd, in Las Vegas, Nevada. A private burial will take place at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Boulder City, Nevada.
