Marie A. Sam-Rogers passed away on November 27, 2014 after battling cancer. She was a dedicated wife and mother. Marie graduated from LA High. She attended college and obtained two degrees. Marie retired from IBM and HSBC. Marie married William Rogers in Las Vegas in 1990. She is a mother of two children and a grandma of two. Marie enjoyed shopping in her spare time and loved to read. Marie is preceded in death by her father, Clarence Sam Jr. and her mother, Mary O. Carmouche Sam. She leaves behind her husband of 24 years,William R Rogers, children; Michael C. Rogers and Maxine A Rogers; grandson, Jaidyn M Rogers; brothers, James A Sam and Markus Sam; sister, Bernadette Sam and many nieces, nephews and friends. Marie will be remembered most for her warm smile and outstanding personality.
