Marino F. "Jumbo" Fiore, 86, passed away Monday, Aug. 30, 2010. A Las Vegas resident for 18 years, he was born Nov. 13, 1923, in Latrobe, Pa. A U.S. Army veteran of World War II, he was a retired business owner in the sanitation industry. Visitation will be 1-3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 4, with a funeral service following, both at Palm Mortuary-S. Jones, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Burial will be at Palm Memorial Park-Northwest, 6701 N. Jones Blvd., with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Heart Association .
