Marion Theresa Barney, age 80, of Las Vegas, died on September 8, 2013 in Las Vegas. Born May 22, 1933 in Plainfield, New Jersey, she moved to Las Vegas in 1991. Mrs. Barney loved playing Bingo at Eldorado Casino in Henderson and was an avid sewer and crafter, sewing her family's own clothes. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Rosalie Frazee, Louise Bishop and Elizabeth Gyeski, and brothers Anthony and Michael Long. Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Charles, daughter Trisha Barney and brothers Jesse and John Long. All services will be held in New Jersey. Entombment will take place in Woodbridge Memorial Gardens, Woodbridge, New Jersey. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Mrs. Barney's name are suggested to the American Heart Association.
