

Marjorie Ellen Benoit was born in 1935 in Damariscotta, Maine to Gordon and Charlotte (Young) Benner. She graduated with honors in 1953 from South Bristol High and continued her education by graduating as an RN from Portland Maine Medical Center in 1956. She met her future husband Tom Benoit white living in the same apartments in Portland. She became a private daily nurse and tended to Toms mother until her death in 1957. She married Tom in 1958 and received a (PHT) pushing husband through degree at his graduation from the University of Maine in 1962.
Upon graduation, she followed Tom’s construction carrier that started in Dutch John, Utah and proceeded to the following locations where she continued her carrier as an RN; Salt Lake, Utah; Baker, Oregon (where their 1st and 2nd sons were born; Nashua, New Hampshire (where their 3dr son was born; Forest Grove, Oregon; Mountain View, Wyoming; Layton, Utah; Vernal, Utah; Denver, Colorado; Sitka, Alaska; Ketchikan, Alaska, Anchorage, Alaska; Cedar Falls, Oregon; Big Bear, California; Arrowhead, Maryland; Richland, Washington; Las Vegas, Nevada; Kirkland, Washington; Country of Jordan; Grand Cayman Islands; Malaysia; Pakistan; Nepal and finely Alma Arkansas.
She was a great mother throughout all the traveling and moving, and never complained. She really enjoyed outside sporty activities such as skiing, swimming, golfing and especially fishing.
She devoted her life to others including her immediate Family, She will be missed by all who new her.
