Marjorie R Love

Marjorie Love passed away Thursday August 11, 2016 at St Rose Dominican hospital in Henderson Nevada. She was born August 4, 1946 in Lake Providence, Louisiana. She was the 13th of 14 children born to Annie and Ezekiel Love. Marjorie grew up in Louisiana and received a formal education in the Louisiana public school system. Upon graduating from high school,she later moved to Milwaukee where she lived with her older brother, Wilson. While there Marjorie attended Milwaukee Area Technical College in pursuit of a business degree. Marjorie later relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada to be closer to the rest of her family and start a family of her own where she had three beautiful children, Todd Love, Carl Love and Marcy Johnson. Marjorie accepted Christ at an early age. She attended Evergreen Missionary Baptist Church and later moved to Calvary Baptist Church where she was an active member for over 20 years. She was a woman of great faith and experienced God's gracious healing on numerous occasions. Marjorie Love enjoyed singing and cooking. She'd fix you up a meal in a hot second. She also enjoyed telling childhood stories and had a sense of humor that would tickle your soul.

Marjorie will always be remembered for her strength, fighting spirit and faith in Christ. She loved her children, family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Annie and Ezekiel Love, her sisters; Jewel Rhodes, Ollie Mae Holden, Dottie Gean Thomas, Brothers; Luther Curtis Love, Chapel Love, Ezekiel Love Jr., Jasper Love, Wilson Love, Jimmy Ray Love, Willie Edward Love and Lonnie Lee Love and beloved granddaughter Erica Demetria Johnson.

She leaves behind, a brother, Levester Love and sister, Dorothy Love, Three children, Todd (Rosita) Love, Carl Love and Marcy (Eric) Johnson, 3 grandchildren; Reagail Burton, Eric Johnson II, Ashley Reid and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
