

Mark Alan Sanman, 'Sandy' passed away peacefully on February 11th in Las Vegas, NV at the age of 65 from a long, hard fought battle with cardiovascular disease, He left behind a legacy that was, in a word, legendary.
Born on August 10th, 1960 in Freeport, IL to Carl and Jeannine Sanman.
Mark graduated from University of Northern Iowa, where he majored in Finance and met the love of his life, Heidi. After graduation a bold move out west to Denver ensued where he would embark on his career, marry Heidi and become a father to Neal and Rachael. Another move brought the family to Albuquerque. Not long after, a final pivotal move brought Mark to Las Vegas. This is where Mark felt home. Julia was an unexpected but cherished addition to the family. In Vegas, Mark found his passion to help others and cultivated a successful career as a financial advisor with what is now Ameriprise.
Mark treasured his family, friends and clients. Mark was honored and humbled to serve his clients and was a true fiduciary.
Tradition was Mark's hallmark. He cherished 40+ years of Brother's/Cousin's boys trips, March Madness, NFL Sunday and Friday night parties. He was preceded in death by his mother Jeannine, father Carl and brother Randy.
Mark is survived by wife Heidi, son Neal (Valerie), daughters Rachael (Jessica) and Julia and grandchildren, Shawn, Kyle, Trevor, Gabriel and Grace.
Visitation will be held at Palm Cheyenne from 3-7pm February 25th. A service will be held at Holy Spirit Catholic Church on February 26th at 11AM, followed by a luncheon.
