Martin Joseph Kunz, 81, of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away on April 2, 2015. He was born on September 3, 1933 in Chicago, Illinois to Fred and Claire Kunz. He was blessed with eight children and a happy marriage to the love of his life, Rosemary, of over 35 years. He enjoyed gardening, spending time with his family, gambling, going out to eat at buffets, fishing, boating, bowling, and golfing. He attended Our Lady of the Ridge Catholic Church in Chicago for many years.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Eloise, three brothers; Lawrence, Ted, and Robert, and two sisters; Joyce and Marie.
He is survived by his wife, eight children; Curt, Jean, Chuck, Bill, Todd, Bob, Mike, and Jason, two brothers; Ambrose and Butch, three sisters; Sharon, Louise, and Bernadette, 12 granddaughters and one grandson, one great-grandson, many nieces and nephews, and a host of great friends.
There will be a visitation held at Palm Mortuary-S. Jones in Las Vegas on Tuesday April 7, 2015 from 4-7 PM followed by a burial at the Southern Nevada Veteran’s Cemetery in Boulder City, Nevada at 10:40 AM on Wednesday April 8, 2015.
