

Martin Maranville passed away July 8, 2016, at his home, in Dewey, Ariz. He was born March 14, 1936, in Holyoke, Colo., and raised on the Maranville Family Farm located nine miles west of Champion, Neb. He graduated from Chase County High School in 1952. He met his future wife, Mary, in Imperial, and they were married for 57 years. To this union, one son was born, Timothy Jay. They also raised Mary’s four children from a previous marriage. He worked at the Nevada Test Site for five years and 26 years at the Las Vegas Valley Water District. In 1998, Martin and Mary retired, bought an RV and, for 17 years, they lived in the RV and traveled extensively enjoying the beauty of our great country. He is survived by his wife, Mary; sons, Ron (Karen) and Tim (Beth); two daughters, Peggy and Vicky; two sisters, Jane (Joe) and Judy (Bob); 14 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. In 2015, health issues developed and they retired from their RV life and settled in Orchard Ranch Senior Park in Dewey. Services will be held on Friday, July 22, at 4 pm, at Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.
