
MARVIN WEISBOND Marvin Weisbond, "Inky The Loving Clown," 86, of Las Vegas, passed away April 6, 2011, after a courageous battle with cancer. Marvin was preceded in death by his parents, Rose and Paul Weisbond; and brother, Richard Weisbond. He leaves behind his loving wife, of 57 years, Lorraine-Isaacson; children, William Weisbond, Michael Weisbond and Judith O'Donnell (David); granddaughters, Jackie and Sarina Weisbond; sister, Shirley Hart (John); sister-in-law, Arlene Weisbond; many nieces, nephews and cousins in both Rochester, New York, and Toronto, Ontario, Canada; and memories for the hundreds of children he has lovingly entertained over the years. Marvin was a World War II U.S. Army veteran, a member of the Army National Guard and the Army Reserves. He proudly served his country for over 39 years. Inky taught clownology at Strong Museum in Rochester, and participated as a member and officer in the Rochester chapter of The Clowns of America. He was a lifelong member of the Free Masons. He worked at Xerox Corporation in Webster, New York for over 25 years. There will be a private memorial service for Inky with immediate family only.
