Mary Ann Jones

Mary Ann Jones, 85, passed away peacefully on May 30, 2025, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Born on June 13, 1939, in Chicago, Illinois, she lived a full and vibrant life surrounded by the people and experiences she cherished most.

Mary Ann was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, and sister. Her family was the heart of her world. She is lovingly remembered by her daughters Carol Ann and her husband Louis, and Donna and her husband William; her daughter-in-law Margaret; her grandchildren Kimberly, Nicole, Kevin, Breanna, and Krista; and her great-grandchildren Camrin, Mia, and Luca.

She was preceded in death by her beloved son Ronald; grandson Christopher; her parents Angelo and Anna; and her brother Angelo Jr.

Throughout her life, Mary Ann embraced every moment with joy and enthusiasm. She had a passion for traveling that took her to many places near and far. Whether exploring new destinations or enjoying familiar favorites, she found delight in the journey as much as the destination.

Mary Ann also loved spending time at home engaging in activities that brought her happiness. She had a sharp mind for jigsaw puzzles and crossword puzzles—pastimes that reflected both her patience and intellect. Playing cards was another favorite activity that often-brought laughter and friendly competition to gatherings with family and friends.

Music and dancing were among Mary Ann’s greatest joys. Whether swaying to a favorite tune or tapping along to a lively beat, she found freedom and expression through rhythm. These moments of music-filled joy were often shared with those around, creating memories that will be treasured forever.

Mary Ann's warmth extended beyond immediate family to all who knew her. Her kindness left an impression on many lives. She was deeply loved by those fortunate enough to share in her journey.

A funeral service honoring Mary Ann’s life will be held on June 13, 2025, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
