It is with great sadness that the family of beloved Mary Ann Kunz announce her passing on the morning of Saturday, September 28th, 2024. Mary Ann was born on August 10th, 1944, in Cleveland, Ohio where she spent all her childhood and a few of her adult years. She was the daughter of Rose Smith and Paul Porter and the sister to Jerome and Paul.
Mary Ann ventured to Arizona where she received her Master of Arts in Education from University of Arizona in 1975 and began her career in Teaching. After growing her family, Mary Ann made Las Vegas, Nevada her home. She is survived by her sons, John, and Thomas Kunz, as well as her dog, Patches. Mary Ann was known for the love of her two sons and dogs, her passion for teaching and the joy she shared with her friends and anyone she met.
A memorial service will be held at 3 o’clock in the afternoon on Sunday, November 3rd, 2024, at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Las Vegas, NV 89123.
