Mary Jane Hitter

Mary was born, attended school, married her beloved John Hitter, and started her family while living in Michigan.

In 1969 the family relocated to Las Vegas. Mary was a christian woman and devoted wife and homemaker. She especially enjoyed cooking and sewing for her family. Fabulous dinner parties and other events were her specialties.

As a proud Scottish clanswoman, Mary spent many hours researching her ancestry and felt very blessed to be able to visit Scotland with her husband.

By 1984, her children grown, Mary and John would move to Texas where she would continue her career and receive many commendations and awards while working at the Veterans Administration.

Eventually Mary and John would return to Las Vegas to be with Family.

Mary is survived by her daughter, Holly Drury, of Las Vegas and sons, George Hitter of Boca Raton, Florida and Lance Hitter of Youngtown, Arizona. Mary was predeceased by her loving husband John George Hitter age 70 on June 2nd 1999, and her eldest son Bradley George Hitter of Altus Oklahoma age 66 on December 29th 2019. Additionally, Mary is survived by 2 of her 8 siblings Cameron Chisholm of Newbury, Michigan and John Chisholm of Largo, Florida as well as many grandchildren great grandchildren and other beloved family and friends.
