Mary Lou Jean Goetz

A memorial and celebration of life gathering will be held for family and friends on December 4, 2025.

Mary Lou was born in Detroit, Michigan to George and Gabrielle Kimpe on October 30, 1941. She married Andrew Goetz on November 30, 1991 at sea off the coast of Honolulu, Hawaii. She graduated from the University of Detroit. She worked as a respiratory therapist for Mount Carmel Mercy Hospital in Detroit, MI and Castle Hospital in Kailua, HI. She volunteered at Sea Life Park in Hawaii and helped the elderly with their taxes. She fulfilled her passion for traveling by vacationing with her husband all over the world.

Mary Lou is survived by her spouse Andrew Goetz; her son and daughter-in-law Raymond Gogolin and Tanya Petersen; her daughter and son-in-law Renee and James Morris; her grandchildren: Jonathan Morris, June Morris, Ashley Rawlings, Derek Edwards, and Samantha Rutan; and her greatgrandchildren: Lucas and Jullian Rutan.
