Mary Ann Newman

Mary Ann married the love of her life, Robert Newman on May 9, 1956 in Las Vegas, New Mexico. She had one sister Jean Thornton (deceased), two brothers Richard Meadows (deceased) and Steve Owens of Maricopa, Arizona.

Mary Ann raised 4 children of her own and countless neighborhood children. Once the children were raised she went to work at Circus-Circus in the Purchasing Department and worked there for 25 years. She retired in 2002 ready to enjoy her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her favorite times were the rodeo years. She always said if she could just keep living those years over and over that would be fine with her.

Mary Ann is survived by her husband of 57 years, Robert Newman, children Rhonda, Jim, Rhesa, Jeff and god-daughter Aprildawn. Grandchildren Richie, Robbie, Aimee, Hazen, Kyndall, and Kash. Great-grandchildren Bryan, Marissa, Gar, Dallie, Haisley and Penny. She will be met in heaven by her mother Ima, father Dave, sister Jean, brother Rich and son-in-law Gar.
