Mary Camacho Perez Toves was called to rest on April 8, 2026, at the age of 83, leaving behind a legacy of love that spans generations.
Born on December 24, 1942, in Tamuning, Guam, Mary is the daughter of Jose Santos Perez, known as “Tan Ping Perez,” and Ana Guerrero Camacho Perez. She graduated from the University of Guam and was a teacher at George Washington High School.
Mary valued spending time with family and friends. She loved crafts and playing Yahtzee and Scrabble with her sisters, having girl outings with her grand-daughters she fondly called her “tails", going to church, and playing golf with her many golfing friends at the Navy’s Admiral Nimitz Golf Course.
Throughout her life, from her earliest days in Guam to her later years in Las Vegas, she carried with her a spirit that was unmistakable—warm, vibrant, and deeply rooted in faith.
She was a social butterfly in every sense, someone who made people feel seen and welcomed. Her kindness was not quiet—it radiated. Her strength was steady. And her love, unwavering.
She is reunited in rest with her parents, her siblings Elizabeth Perez Manibusan, Vincent Camacho Perez, Johnny Camacho Perez, and Jesse Camacho Perez, and her Parents in law Pedro Toves

Mary’s life lives on through the family she built and nurtured. She is lovingly remembered by her husband, Peter Cruz Toves; her sons, Peter Joseph Toves, and Paul James Toves and his wife Gilberta T. Toves; and the many generations that follow. Specifically,
Her two granddaughters: Jolene Rae Toves and partner Micah Tobias, and their children Zavier T. Blas and Vera Blas, and great-great grandson Lucas; Kayden T. Blas and Miran Blas, and great-great grandson Kavico J. Mata; Ethan T. Blas; Mikala Tobias; Maleah Tobias; Makoa Tobias; and Miley Rae Toves; Taylor Rose Toves and her son Liam Toves; and her lovingly adopted granddaughter Jean Dayton Mier.
Mary is survived by her siblings and extended family: Elizabeth Manibusan (deceased) and her husband Francisco Manibusan; Joseph Perez and his wife Becky (deceased); Evelyn Camacho and her husband Jose Camacho (deceased); Lola C. Pablo and her husband Joseph Pablo (deceased); Mae C. Perez and Carlos Pablo (deceased); Jimmy Perez and his wife Doreen Perez; Jesse Perez (deceased) and his wife Louise Perez.
She is additionally survived by her Brothers & Sisters in-law & Spouses: Benedicto C. Toves (Deceased) & Teresita C. Toves; Barbara J. Ray and family; Robert C. Toves (Deceased) & Florencia S. Burial will be on April 21, 2026 at the Whispering Pines, Palm Northwest Mortuary and Cemetery, 6701 N. Jones Blvd. Las Vegas, Nevada. Viewing is from 9 a.m.-11 a.m., followed by Memorial Service from 11 a.m. - 12 p.m., and Internment at 12:30 p.m.
