Matthew Haynes, 29, of Las Vegas, passed away September 15, 2013. He was born May 5, 1984 in Lubbock, Tx. and resided in Las Vegas for 16 years. He served in the U.S. Army and is a Gulf War Veteran. He is also a member of the Nevada National Guard. His is survived by his parents, Allen and Virginia Haynes both from Las Vegas, NV. and a brother Jeremiah Haynes also of Las Vegas, NV. Visitations will be from 3-7 p.m. Thursday, September 19 at Palm Mortuary at 1325 North Main Street. Service will be at 8:00 a.m. Friday, September 20 at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Boulder City, NV. Any donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
