Maxine Tucker

Our beloved Maxine Martin Andrew was born on June 21, 1940 in Louisiana. She was the daughter and Princess beauty of Dorcas Tobitha Martin and Marion Martin. At the age of 4, she moved to Oakland, California with her mother. As a young Princess, she attended Church with her mother at the Church of God in Christ in Oakland. At the age of 10, she was attending Church at Lakeshore Gospel Chapel.

In her adult life, she went to cosmetology school at Fremont Beauty College in Fremont, California.

She became a successful beautician and business owner of her very own salon; Maxine’s International House of Hair. Soon after that, she met the love of her life and moved to Las Vegas. They were blessed to have spent over 30 years together.

Maxine is survived by her husband Prince Andrew Tucker. Her brother Robert James Woods, Wife and

Sister in-law Jeanette Woods. She is also survived by Nieces and Nephews Regina Roberta Woods, Little Robert Eugene Woods, Cameo Rashan Woods, Sandra Jane Woods, Elvester Woods Jr; Raymond Woods, Darrell Dean Woods, Donna Lee Woods, Sabina Woods, first Cousins Wanda Faye Jones, Scotty Lacraft Jones, Dorcus Loretta Davis and survived by a host of Grand Nieces and Grand Nephews. We love her dearly, but God loves her best.
