Mercedes was the daughter of Cornelio and Epeponia Ricalde. She grew up in Samar, Philippines. Mercedes passed away on August 3, 2012 at Spring Valley Hospital in Las Vegas Nevada from multi organ failure. She is survived by her children Rose, Tom and Kim and her granddaughter Chloe. Services will be held at Shadow Hills Baptist Church, 7811 Vegas Drive, Las Vegas, NV 89128 and will be laid to rest at Palm Northwest Cemetery, 6701 N. Jones Blvd, Las Vegas NV, 89131. Simply stated, Mercedes was a good and kind person, an individual who will for all time be remembered by her family and friends as being a caring and giving person and someone who was a vital part of their lives. Mercedes leaves behind her a legacy of life long friendships and many cherished memories.
