Michael K Hamilton

Mike was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather. He was born on 6 December 1949, in Carlsbad, NM, the third of nine children. After graduating high school, he joined the Air Force and was eventually stationed in England, where he met his future wife, Sothie.

Mike later retired from the Air Force in Las Vegas, NV, where he and Sothie raised their two children. He spent nearly 30 years as a realtor, helping families find the right home. Most importantly, he was a good man, who loved his wife, children, and grandchildren deeply. A believer in showing people how one feels, everyone who knew Mike knew that he cared and would always show up if you needed a hand.

Mike is survived by his wife of 53 years, Sothie Hamilton, his two children, three grandchildren, four sisters, Ann Brooks, Susan Hamilton, Mary Griffin, Catherine Hamilton, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Vivian Hamilton, three brothers, Patrick, John and Timothy, and one sister, Virginia.

The funeral will be held on June 10th, at St. Anthony of Padua, in Las Vegas, NV. A rosary will be said at 10am, with mass at 10:30am. The reception will follow immediately after the mass.
