Michael Joseph Lewis, 66, of Las Vegas, Nevada passed away in the early hours of Sunday November 24. Mike built a career as an accountant, serving as the controller for the Culinary Union Local 226. He later worked as the IT Director for Unite Here International Union and finished his career as the Chief Information Officer for that organization. He enjoyed his years in retirement traveling the country with his beloved wife, Deborah, and his ever-faithful companion, Bailey.
Mike will always be remembered as a financial genius to those who knew him well. He enjoyed spending quality time with his grandchildren and was an avid fisherman. He is survived and beloved by his wife Deborah, son William, daughter Sandra Lorraine Rodriguez, 5 grandchildren, five brothers and their wives, a sister in law, thirteen nieces and nephews, and mother-in-law Keith Richards of Pomona, CA.
